The horses listed below are all AMHA and AMHR registered (or have AMHR papers pending).
Unless otherwise noted, they are guaranteed in writing not to exceed 34”. All bites are perfect, and will be guaranteed with proof of semi-annual dental care by an equine dentist. A colt purchased for breeding will have a written guarantee that testicles will be descended by age 3. Fillies are sold with a complimentary breeding back to one of our
World Top Ten or World Champion producing stallions.
Cash back show incentives are available, as are interest free time payments to qualified buyers. Prices may be discounted for cash payment (no installments), or multiple purchases.

Although it is a cliché, the ‘good home’ factor is important to me, as is the advertising benefit of having my Mocha horses in the show ring. I will never be insulted by a sincere offer, so please feel free to talk with me about any horse you are interested in.

I also include a buy back clause in every contract. This provides a safety valve for the buyer, should circumstances change, and also assures that I can track my foals. Breeding Miniature Horses is more than a business for me, and I feel responsible for every tiny life that I have had a hand in creating. My horses are always welcome back home.

Here are the horses currently available for purchase.

Beautiful and sweet, ‘Whimsie’ is everyone’s dream girl, and a headhunter’s delight. She is bay roan tovero with one blue eye, an Arista’s Choctaw Charlie daughter, out of one of our
NFC’s Cherokee Maiden
daughters, black and white Mocha’s Cherokee Enchantress. The genes of Gold Melody Boy and Rowdy all wrapped up in a gorgeous colorful package.  Mom ‘Tessa’ is also the dam of 3 AMHA World and Regional Champions, Reserve Champions, Futurity winners and World Top Ten FULL siblings to Whimsie including Luke and Chant pictured below.

Whimsie's pictures speak for themselves, and she can move!

Attention AMHR ‘B’ fans:  Whimsie measured 29.25” at 5 months, and I feel that she may outgrow her AMHA papers, so will offer her without a 34” height guarantee for $4000.  This will still include show incentives and a breeding.

‘Bravo’ is full brother to Mocha’s Cherokee Chieftain, Cherokee War Dance, Cherokee Angel Feather, and Cherokee Enchantress.  Secret’s dam is our NFC’s Fire & Ice daughter, Mocha’s Ebony & Ice. Black and white, blue eyed Ebony, whose grand sire is Boogerman on her dam’s side, is also dam of World Reserve Open Halter Champion Mocha’s Keep Her In Kalico.
Secret is royally bred with lots of color on both sides.  She should mature between 32 and 33”, and moves like a dream.  As a bonus, she will keep you constantly entertained – a filly with a definite sense of humor!  $5500

Litonya is a Native American word for ‘darting hummingbird’, and it fits ‘Tonya’ to a t.  She is delicate and feminine and always on alert, pretending that the world is a scary place.  At 5 months, we think it’s all an act, but it suits her. She is Arista’s Choctaw Charlie’s, and our first foal from

multi-titled show mare Mocha’s Cherokee Angel Feather, giving her that wonderful Gold Melody Boy/Rowdy bloodline. She very closely resembles ‘uncle’ Mocha’s Cherokee War Dance, Feather’s full brother, but with overall better balance, and the incredible neck and carriage of her dad Charlie.  Tonya will probably mature right around 32”.
I hate sales lists with no prices, and I hate the term ‘private treaty’, but I also hate the thought of letting this filly go!  Call or email if you are interested and we can talk.

‘Stryker’, we have decided, looks more like sire Arista’s Choctaw Charlie than any son so far. He’s a bright red chestnut with liberal roaning and ‘varnish’ marks, a star and partial strip that continues to expand. Measuring 26.75” at 5 ½ months, we feel he will mature between 31-32”.  Stryker is

Cherokee Treasure

NFC’s Cherokee Maiden’s #11 foal, and he is full sibling to Mocha’s CC Cherokee Frostfyre and Mocha’s CC Cherokee Treasure , and half sibling to a crowd of accomplished show and breeding horses.  If you go to the New Foals page, there are pictures and credentials for Stryker’s anticipated 2007 full sibling.
This is a beautifully balanced colt, with a gorgeous head and very long, upright neck, and the smooth level topline and great hip that Charlie is known for.  Stryker could bring sought after bloodlines and exceptional conformation to your herd, or become a really top notch show gelding.
SOLD Congratulations to Tammie Wetherell, NEK Minis, East Hardwick, VT.

And for the time being, at least, Stryker gets to keep his ‘equipment’.

Pictures from 2006 AMHA World Show and Liz MacMillan shoot are on order!
In the meantime, thank you, Karen Rudolph, for these beautiful shots of Penny
!

‘Penny’ is by World Top Ten and Eastern Reserve Champion Mocha’s Boogerman’s Royal Blue,  and out of multiple AMHA Grand and Supreme Halter mare NFC Dark’s Spice of Life, a Komoko’s Dark Destroyer daughter.  Flashy silver bay with a star and snip, Penny is the image of her ‘aunt’ Mocha’s Boogerman’s Kara Mia, who was World Reserve Champion Two Year Old Mare 28-30, and multiple World Top Ten.

Mocha's Boogerman's Kara Mia
Mocha's Boggerman's Kara Mia

Penny should mature 32.5 – 33”.  She is totally elegant with a pretty head, lots of expression, a long upright neck and smooth body, and that ‘tight’ underline that seems to never require any conditioning.
As a yearling, Penny came home from the 2006 AMHA World Show with two Top Tens - in AOTE Mares and Amateur Junior Mares - Level 2, and a World Reserve Futurity title.  Penny also won the 2006 Eastern Championship AOTE Mare title.
A beautiful mover, Penny is destined to drive, and based on her breathtaking, tail-flagging trot in my field, would be an exceptional Liberty horse as well. She is also one of the barn ‘characters’, and life with Penny will never be boring or predictable!  Priced at $8500 with $500 of cash back show incentives.

Tiny, precious ‘Gillie’ is the hit on every farm tour.  Born 5-20-05, I‘m not sure she will ever see 28”. A rich dark chestnut with a big snip, she is totally balanced and in proportion, with an exquisite head on a surprisingly long neck – a true horse in miniature despite her minute stature.  Gillie is an Arista’s Choctaw Charlie daughter, out of 29.5” AMHA World Top Five 28-30” mare Mocha’s Boogerman’s Promise.  Mom ‘Missy’ was also multiple AMHA Top Tens as an Amateur and Open mare, and was AMHA Eastern Regional Champion AOTE Mare.  Gentle and sweet but with a definite show horse attitude, I believe Gillie will be very competitive in her height category,
Because of her size, I would like to put some restrictions on breeding her (not ruled out, but must be re-visited in 3 years).
SOLD- Congratulations to the Greenwood Family, Keene, NH.

Dark bay pinto ‘Zena’ is my incomparable NFC’s Cherokee Maiden’s 10th foal, and second
Aristas Choctaw Charlie
daughter. You only have to look at her gorgeous half siblings
(Mocha’s Cherokee Chieftain, Mocha’s Cherokee War Dance, Mocha’s Cherokee Angel Feather) and

Mocha's CC Cherokee Frostfyre
Mocha's CC Cherokee Frostfyre

her full sister Mocha’s CC Cherokee Frostfyre to know what to expect. Mom ‘Cherrie’ is nothing if not consistent, and even her grandchildren are spectacular. Cherrie was 2004 World Top Ten Produce of Dam represented by ‘Feather’ and ‘Frosti’, full sister to Zena.  Zena, is expected to mature around 32”. She is every bit as beautiful and showy and sweet as her siblings and we look forward to great things from her.
SOLDMuch belated congratulations to Zena’s proud new mom Karen Rudolph, Frost Hill Farm, Hampstead, NH.  Karen and Zena competed very successfully at the AMHA 2006 Eastern Championship Show bringing home a well-earned Top Ten. Watch for this elegant team in the future.
